December 12th, 2012 - The piles are being installed, even in a snow storm our builder, Parkwest, is getting the job done! |

| November 2nd 2012 - The ground breaking event was held on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at 11:00am at the site of the new library, 806 Manitoba Avenue in Selkirk.

| October 2012 - tenders are out. Builder will be picked in the next few weeks. |
| July 4th, 2012 - Plans are now in the final stages. Constrction to start in the Fall of 2012. |
March 9th, 2012 - In the month of March you will see some big equipment out at the New Library site. We're doing the geophysical test of the property and locating existing infrastructure in preparation for the new building. |
